| Ugh... Changing the song after this. "Cherish Christmas" by Megumi Hayashibara, another one of my favorites who sang a Christmas song. Hope you enjoy it, I did. December the 18th, 2007 Tuesday Today was a horrible day. I don't even want to go into all of it. So one thing that happened was one of my acquaintences (Not quite a friend, not quite a stranger) went into a long talk about stuff. I was bored and I disagreed a lot with what he said, not that I let him know that. I thought about what he said later and... wow. He's a pretty good motivational speaker. Here's the thing though, I've heard what he said before and I didn't think much of it until now. Second thing that happened to me isn't worth mentioning but it was bad and pissed me off good. Let's just say an event from the past turned out to be a good thing in this situation. December the 17th, 2007 Monday I've been watching so much Yakitate Japan. It of course gets boring at one point and the plot along with the jokes are reused to a point where it's not cool. Also, I really wish the minor characters would do more. I know they're minor for a reason but they're cool. There was so much robbery in the semi-finals of the first competition. I think I feel worse for Kawachi than I do for Lee when he loses... I didn't expect a complete loss like that. It was sad, there was crying and... it was just really sad. Also, the pink-haired dude, I don't remember his name, he was an interesting character but he does pretty much nothing in the second competition except talk on the phone... Thing with this Anime is that whoever wrote this had a good idea for the background stories for the characters, it's just competition after competition gets old... Also, the clown dude who judges the Monaco Cup competition has terrible reactions to good bread. He's kinda cool and all, but I hate how his reactions are just flashbacks of his life. I won't say that this Anime is as bad as Naruto or Bleach, but they get lots of points for how educational it is, how unique it is from other Animes and for some good opening/ending songs. As for what I did today... didn't do much. After watching so much things done with bread, I went down to a bakery to check out what they had. Two monies for a small scone! I couldn't believe it, it was robbery. I also bought a small loaf of French bread which was more worth it for a mere one monies. I went to another bakery later only to be sorely disappointed due to they're old baked goods or should I say baked bads? Ha... ha... They aren't freshly baked and cost about the same, the size is bigger though. I then went to the store to waste more time and my friend gave me a State Alchemist's pocketwatch. It was pretty neat. That's about it. December the 16th, 2007 Sunday A waste of a day! I went to a friend's house to hang out. What happened when I got there? He and some friends who were already there wanted to go to Burger King... I didn't even do anything yet. I paid for some nutrients and was once again sorely disappointed. I like eating plain burgers. I'll eat cheese but ketchup, sauces, vegetables are a taboo for me on burgers or pretty much anything. So since I didn't order for myself due to possible discounts, he forgot to say no sauce... Curse you Burger King! Scammed yet again. We went back to his house and it was dark... the bus took so long to get there. It was a stupid idea to go to Burger King... I hate him for that. I'm going to remember this. There was still one of his friends at his house. He and I played card games while the friend who lived there did his own thing. What the Hell? We came to hang out with him and this is what happens? Lame. Big waste. Coming home was lame too. December the 15th, 2007 Saturday Nothing happened, a friend called me down to the store and I wasted time playing Wow of all things. Robbery... Yeah, that was about it. December the 14th, 2007 Friday Last day of school before the Winter Break... School wasn't awful, but I regretted not doing something. However, that's a secret. It is something that will make me say half of "Life doesn't suck after all, you guys!" if I'm successful. Too bad it's all on luck. I wasted monies I didn't have on Bleach again. Very unlucky this time around. A complete waste. December the 13th, 2007 Thursday You guys! Don't see "The Golden Compass", it's robbery. My class took a field trip to a theater to watch this. I fell asleep right after the previews which was probably the best part of the day. Found out there's going to be a live-action Speed Racer movie. I'm probably not going to watch it but it's very interesting that they made one... Anyway, I woke up eventually and watched the rest of the movie. It wasn't anything special. Even the teacher said it wasn't good, kept waiting for something to happen, kinda like what we do with Naruto, Bleach, and Dragonball. We watched it to the end and I was sorely disappointed, nothing was resolved. Then one of the other guys said there's more movies. Lame. I wasted monies on a series of movies that I won't finish. I'm definitely not watching "The Golden Compass 2" and neither should you. | | |
| Luck was on my side today... I went to go pick up a magazine when what should catch my eye? A new type of Dragonball toy... Now, this wasn't Dbz or anything just plain old Dragonball. The box didn't have a checklist or pictures of the whole set. I looked at how many figures were in the set and there were 24! Wow, can anyone say robbery? No checklist, this is a super gamble. I had to get one though. I got Bulma, it wasn't Goku but it was a main character. There was a checklist in the box and I had a look at it. Damn! There are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many awful characters. Thank the Matrix I got Bulma. I'm so happy with her. I did not dare to try again. I went to another place, the same place where I got the Dragonball Z toys I complained about before. Looks like they opened a new box but someone bought a few. I resisted trying for the Goku. I did see some Naruto keychains though. If you Naruto fans recall the 1st Shippudden ending, the characters were chibi-looking. These keychains were based on that except they added junk characters like Iruka, the new team 7 Jonin, Sai... I'd have taken any other characters but those three especially half-shirt... I'd kill myself if I got him. These keychains used to tell you what was inside for older series, this set was out to rob people. I had to buy one though. Lucky me I got the best looking one in the set, it was one of the two Narutos. Thank the Matrix it wasn't half-shirt... | | |
| December the 11th, 2007 Tuesday Nothing's happened yet, I just took too long with yesterday's entry... Edit: Nothing happened today. It was quite disappointing. So I've been paying more attention to Yakitate over the other Animes I can't watch on tv right now. I really wish the animation was better. Also they're doing that thing where they draw those scratches under the characters' eyes... I'm really not a fan of that... Anyway, the song's been changed. It's from one of my favorite artists and it's Christmasy. Seems most of my favorite Japanese singers have Christmas songs and they're all pretty good. December the 10th, 2007 Monday Due to my new villainhood, I get all of the villanous holidays that come from being a villain. I took today off because it was "I'm taking off because I'm a villain and I can day". It's not like I was sick or anything... then again I am sick of school. Can't deny that. What did I do on this glorious holiday of mine? Nothing much. I just loved not going to school and getting some R and R. Let's talk about Anime for a bit. I'm starting to want to watch Yakitate Japan and Death Note. Don't know about Death Note, but Yakitate's 69 episodes long... I don't know how they can stretch such an Anime that far. I've seen the first two episodes and it's better than watching Naruto and Bleach so far, but I have to say... 69 episodes is a bit much. As for Death Note, I don't really want to go and get it. I missed some episodes on Adult Swim which kind of ruins that method of watching it. It's very interesting. The main character's so smart and clever. It's like watching a detective story only Light's just out for himself. I have to wonder... powers aside, who would win in a battle of wits between Light and Kurama. While I will side with Kurama, Light's very intelligent. I can't simply count him out. | | |
| Bad Friday, good Saturday, mild Sunday... December the 9th, 2007 Sunday Nothing happened today. Nothing at all. It was pretty uneventful. I saw one episode of Naruto far from where I am in the series. I saw the character Sai for the first time... Ew. Naruto, get Sasuke back because I hate this guy. His half shirt and pale skin makes me want to call the Ghostbusters on this guy. What's with that half shirt anyway? Can't you decide? Either go shirtless or wear a full shirt you albino creep. And what's with that ending sequence, they made it all about him. His poses caused me to be taken aback... I did like at the end of the book in the sequence where he's trying to catch up to Naruto and Sakura but he never did... and he gave up... Yeah. December the 8th, 2007 Saturday Don't you hate it when you're waiting for something in the afternoon but you get up early and don't want to sleep more? It hurts during that long period of time... doesn't it? I had one of those. Waiting for something and waking up too early for it. I thought what I was waiting for wouldn't even happen at all. To my surprise, it did. Wow! What is this event? It's a secret... I went to that darn store again. I noticed a stack of unpriced Yugioh cards and asked to check them out. There was a Chaos Neos there!!! There was also an Evil Hero Lightning Golem which I didn't care much about... but I kind of wanted anyway. I asked if the dude who works there could give me prices on them. He said Chaos Neos is worthless and he could sell it to me for a mere ten monies! Wow! I know that thing's worth like twenty to thirty monies. I threw my monies at him at once. Then I asked about the Golem, he said seven monies, I thought it was a good deal so I used my Pay Day attack yet again. (I later found out that it wasn't that good a deal... but at least it wasn't robbery.) Then in hopes of learning the Kingdom Hearts card game, I bought a starter as well. I learned to play and it's pretty good in concept. I like it. It's hard to make a deck though because I didn't see anything about a side deck. It's pretty tough but I'll play it. December the 7th, 2007 Friday Nothing much happened. This part's worth mentioning though. My gramps has yet again said "Dudes, we need to go to Safeway for bread!!!" Oh, come on... that's three days in a row we've been to Safeway. Can it stop? Please? Guess what else we bought? Chicken... which we bought plenty of yesterday... Then what happens later? My dad tells me that we need to go to Safeway... Could we just live there? That way we don't have to keep wasting precious time going there for things we could've bought earlier or things we bought earlier but just can't help but buy more of... Some dude I half-know wanted to sell me some of his Yugioh cards. I spent twenty monies or so on them. It hurt and I regret it, but oh well. I did it... I also got a Soundwave, part of it was paid for by a very good friend so I saved some monies. I opened the box and I was amazed by it. It was pretty fun but I couldn't play with it like I did with my Beast Wars, too expensive this one is. That's about it. | | |
| I can't believe what's happened to me today... Prepare yourself for a long entry since I didn't update since Saturday. Each day continues to force me to the Dark Side... December the 6th, 2007 Thursday So I went to school as usual. Science was so boring... I could not believe how boring it was. My villainous nature wanted so much for me to just run around with a chainsaw and commit villainous acts... however I kept my cool. Around lunch, I realized I did not have my phone with me. Normally, I'd think that I left it at home, but I was wearing a new blacket (black jacket). The pockets weren't as cool as my original blacket that I always wear since I was a main character and main characters never change their look. I thought my cell phone fell out or something. So I went through the day waiting and waiting for school to end. When it did, I hopped into the car anticipating when I could go home to see if I simply didn't bring it or if my new blacket betrayed me. Then my gramps went and said "Dudes! We have to run to Safeway to buy us some chicken!" Now, he went to Safeway yesterday so I had to question this. He gave me a lame excuse and just went there. Damn! I sat there for what felt like forever wondering what happened to my phone. I was going to run out and dent a few cars because it was such a long wait. When he came back I thought that we could finally be on our way when what happens? A traffic jam... Damn dude! I could not believe it, what are the odds? After that horrible hindrance I had to stop somewhere making me waste even more valuable searching time. Now, on the road I usually go home on, there's only a certain amount of stop lights. What happens? The final stop light goes red on me... I thought it was going to be green all the way, but as soon as my car hits that last stop it turns red... So I made it home, I thought that there had better be mail after all this crap happened. No mail! Damn! After all that waiting, wondering if some punk made off with my phone, after that waiting for the chicken, after the traffic jam, after that cursed final light... my phone was home. Still, I won't be trusting my new blacket. Change is bad, kids. Remember that. Then I felt that after such a dilemma, I had to do something to make the day slightly better. Guess what I decided to do? You probably thought I went to that stupid store, nope. I went to Burger King. Nothing like having it my way after such a horrible day. Only... this remedy for the first time ever did not work... The soda tasted kinda bad... After taking my bag of nutrients and returning home to eat what I bought made my way, I found that... they shorted me a patty on my burger... What is this? Burger King has failed me too? Damn... It was raining today as well. While I do like the rain, it certainly didn't help with all of these events that kept flying in my face... I have to wonder if this is karma for my previous villainous acts or an Equivalent Exchange for the monies I found two days ago. I am so glad it's midnight... December the 5th, 2007 Wednesday Nothing happened. December the 4th, 2007 Tuesday So I was going home but what did I see on the street? A monies clip with monies in it. I dashed for it and grabbed the thing then zoomed away. I found X monies! Wow! Best thing that's happened to me in a while. That's about it I suppose. December the 3rd, 2007 Monday Not much happened, went and spread my villainy around and I went home. December the 2nd, 2007 Sunday The store has cheated me out of stuff yet again. I felt so robbed. It's a good thing such feelings pass or I would have to go bad guy on them and they won't like it when I go bad guy on them... | | |
